Kiva Dunes Golf Course
Kiva Dunes Golf Course is always at the top of the list when people talk about the best golf in Alabama, and it’s easy to see why. This gorgeous track winds through a secluded piece of land, presenting incredible shotmaking opportunities in an unforgettable setting. The links style course was ranked the number one public golf course in Alabama by Golf Advisor in 2017, and over the years, the course has received many awards from Golf Digest, Golf Week and Links Magazine. The layout was created by Jim Edgemon, the property’s developer, and longtime friend and former U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate. The two share a love of the sport, which led to the partnership that resulted in the No. 1 public golf course in Alabama: Kiva Dunes.

Situated on top of a 30-foot dune, this beautiful combination of relaxation and play features the ideal location to enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The Kiva Dunes Beach Clubs offers a full-service bar and restaurant, salt water pool, hot tub, beach umbrellas and loungers with food and beverage service delivered to you on the beach.
Kiva Beach Club membership is automatically included when you book your vacation through our website. If booking through a third party site then the Kiva Beach Club may not be available for your rental.
Kiva Beach Club is open for season March 1 – November 30
Kiva Beach Accesses:
West Boardwalk: Available lounger rentals (seasonal) at west boardwalk with BYOB food and drinks.
East Boardwalk: Completely BYOB, bring your own chairs, umbrellas, tent and coolers to the east boardwalk.
Kiva Beach Club Beach: No coolers or food inside the club or beachside service area (there is a free water station in KBC). You can set up chairs in the “Non-service” beach area (to the right) or rent loungers.

Want to beat the heat this summer? Check out one of the four luxury pools that are located throughout our resort. Soaking up the sun takes on a whole new meaning here at Kiva Dunes. Each of our four pools is a unique tropical oasis that blends into the natural beauty between the beach and the bay.
